This plant is extremely drought-tolerant, but its Achilles' heel is too much water. Snake plants needs well-drained potting mix that doesn't hold a lot of water. Ideally, snake plant likes to be in bright but indirect sunlight. However, you can put them in a windowless room and it'll be just fine.
Similar to other household succulents, snake plants help to filter indoor air. What's unique about this particular plant is that it's one of the few plants that can convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into oxygen at night. This quality makes it an ideal plant for bedroom decor.
